Welcome to Lexrel, a dynamic marketplace connecting buyers and sellers across Africa. By using our platform, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

   • By registering, accessing, or using Lexrel, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions.

     If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the platform.

2. User Registration & Accounts

   • Users must provide accurate and complete details when creating an account.

   • Buyers and Sellers may both post ads to sell goods and services.

   • Vendors must provide company details (business name, address, contact person, logo, description, etc.) for verification and display.

   • Lexrel reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to be fraudulent or in violation of these Terms.

3. User Responsibilities

   • Users are responsible for the accuracy of all listings, requests, and information provided.

   • Users must not post illegal, offensive, or misleading content.

   • Users acknowledge that they are the rightful owner (or authorized seller) of goods or services they list.

4. Transactions & Payment Protection

   • Buyers may request goods or services and sellers may bid, respond, or generate invoices.

   • Lexrel offers a Payment Protection system to safeguard payments until buyers confirm receipt of goods or services.

   • Buyers and sellers may choose to transact outside Lexrel’s Payment Protection, but such transactions are at their own risk and are not covered.

   • Lexrel is not liable for the authenticity of goods (e.g., stolen or counterfeit items). Buyers must confirm before purchase.

5. Payment Processing & Wallet System

Lexrel is not a bank, payment provider, or wallet custodian.

All payments and wallet services are managed by authorized third-party providers.

Users agree to the terms of the respective payment providers.

Lexrel does not directly hold funds. Any payment delays or failures are the responsibility of the provider.

6. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

Engage in money laundering, fraud, or illegal transactions.

Use Lexrel for activities restricted by law (e.g., weapons, drugs, adult services if underage).

Misuse Lexrel’s branding or intellectual property.

7. Refunds & Disputes

Refunds are only available for transactions covered under Lexrel’s Payment Protection.

Disputes must be reported within the specified resolution period.

Lexrel will act as a mediator but final responsibility lies with the buyer and seller.

8. Age-Sensitive Requests

Lexrel does not impose a general age restriction; however, certain requests (e.g., adult or sensitive services) may require age verification.

Lexrel is not responsible for how users request or respond to such listings.

9. Intellectual Property

Users must respect intellectual property rights of others when posting ads or uploading logos/images.

Vendors grant Lexrel a license to display their logos, names, and descriptions for advertising and promotional purposes.

10. Limitation of Liability

Lexrel provides the platform “as is” and does not guarantee uninterrupted access.

Lexrel is not responsible for losses, damages, or claims arising from user transactions.

Users transact at their own risk except where covered by Payment Protection.

11. Amendments

Lexrel may update these Terms from time to time.

Continued use of the platform means acceptance of the updated Terms.
